This week's results saw 3 wins from 5 in our Senior team's.
Skipper James Waller led our 2nd XI to a win with 77 in a fantastic run chase with great support from youngster Ed Sullivan (42) and Ben Sheard (33no).
Our 4th XI - division 1 team piled on the runs with 102 from Mahesh Kumarasinghe, Jerome Fernando (67) and Ruwan Wickramasinghe (55no). With the ball Sanjeev Karunanayake continued his great start to season with 4/14 from his overs, and Ishan Perera claiming 3/16.
Our 4th XI - division 2 team made it 2 from 2 with another dominant display against Dunnstown. Santhosh Pati leading the way with 94 not out, Abhilash Katikaneni also scoring a quick fire 87 from just 67 balls including 5 sixes, Srikanth Madikonda doing the damage with the ball with 3/27, helping them secure top spot
Special mention also to Nick Cochrane who made his first half century in the 1st XI finishing with 71 helping the side recover from 6/34.
Our 3rd XI suffered their first defeat of the season in a close game against East Ballarat, Captain Tynan Haintz and David LePoidevin got the side into a strong position making 73 and 76 at the top of the order, but then regular wickets followed their departure resulting in the side being bowled out 10 runs short of the target.
In the Junior teams, our under 13's batting well making 5/100 against Wendouree, but it wasn't quite enough going down by 28 runs. Our 15s had a tough day against Darley going down by 80 runs.
