Hot Takes

Top notch cricket at a club that cares about you.

01

BHCC is a great place to play and learn your cricket

Cricket is a game that can be played hard and still be heaps of fun. We believe the fun part should be the first priority and that we are all able to improve our skills at any stage in our career. A good team will nearly always outplay a team of great individuals - winning is not everything but we do play to be our best.

Our men's and women's teams have represented Ballarat in regional matches. There are opportunities to go as far or as little as you desire.

02

We are an inclusive club

BHCC has female senior and under age teams with a plan to expand to all age groups.

We are proud of the teams we have in fourth grade that provide opportunities for players with a sub-continental background to enjoy their cricket in a culturally comfortable atmosphere.

We cater for all shapes and skill levels. No judgement. No exclusion. Of course LGBTQI+ is never an issue.

03

A nice location and family friendly

We are fortunate to have the Brown Hill Recreation Reserve as our home ground and clubrooms. Juniors, Women and lower grades play on our synthetic pitch and train at the four nets.

A Master Plan is in place to upgrade training facilities, changerooms and the oval - Ballarat Council is sourcing much of the funding for this fantastic enhancement to our end of town.

04

We offer genuine coaching and support for juniors and seniors

BHCC has invested a lot of time and effort into our coaching program. We have a panel of coaches for our senior men, a level 3 coach for our women (also junior coordinator) and a team of coaches for our juniors. Checkout the profiles on the Junior and Senior Men's pages.
